  • I am just a guy…your average dude with a wife and kids(1 now he’s 11 and our Daughter is due in Dec.)Full disclosure I do smoke for medical reasons having had 3 back surgeries in 18 months or so. My last surgery was over a year ago and it looks like I am not losing the cane any time soon. I was working a regular job before and have always worked. I have no higher education and in fact signed myself out of High School when I was 18….not because school was ever hard I just got bored knowing 2/3 of what was being taught was useless information. Like the estimated speed of light is 186,000 Mps. Basically what I am sayin is that I have always felt overqualified for most jobs I have had. I have never been in trouble at all, no arrests even in my younger and “dumber” days. I am not a crook in any way though I may or may not have broken a law or two in my past. The worst thing I do now is get a nickle bag when I can afford it and have my wife worry about me getting busted yet know that it helps me cope and honestly like it when I have it. She does not smoke and has only tried it once. That was before we ever met and we have been together nearly 12 years. The point of me telling you this is that I am looking for a job…..I am 34 and use a cane to walk, I can’t lift or bend much at all. I can’t even be on my feet for real long without it hurting more BUT….I am intelligent and can do pretty much anything that can be trained. I retain knowledge very well and am pretty good with getting out what I want to say….as you can see from still reading this and not realizing halfway through that I was just some dumb bored “pot-head”…..like I tell my Son all the time “Dad is smart Son” and I must say we are raisin a pretty damn good kid so we’re doing something right. Any way if you want to talk more shoot me an e-mail maybe you can tell me what it would take to set up a NORML chapter in or around Newark-Heath area. We have a house out off of rt.40 so thats the closest towns. Hope to hear from you and thank you for taking the time to read this

    Sincerely,
    Kelley Shaver
